I Believe Black Lives Matter

All lives do matter, so why when someone in particular says they matter can't we just say, "Yes. You do matter."
No "but..." no "however" no "well, everybody's lives..."
So when someone says black lives matter, why can't we just say "That's true"?

NearMiss, it's about percentages. what percentage of each race in the population, percentage of a percentage, meets police brutality. That's why it's a problem.
The existence of those issues you named don't justify or excuse the others. They're problems. If I go on about the problem of racism in response to what you listed, I'd be dismissing them. That's what I'm saying in my story, that that dismissal needs to stop. All of it.
