@SomeMichGuy
I accept all of that except for the "teen girl making a pass at dad." It sounds too much like Freuds "every man is in love with his mother," which I can attest to is not true.

@calicuz I didn't use the universal affirmative:
"He said that most fathers have some point in a daughter's teen years where she has some fantasy about herself and her dad--mom isn't in the picture, but is somehow not an issue--and she'll make a (possibly quite clumsy) pass at dad." (Emphasis added.)
And yeah, I loved & love my Mother, but I'm not in love with her.

@calicuz But thanks for actually reading that! lol
And Freud named the "talking cure"--people had been using it forever...

I don't understand why they do that. I'm not against age gaps, but I feel like the existence of one requires a little more effort and certainly not a sense of entitlement.

Because some women do. I discovered a long time ago that we aren’t a monolith. What you or I might think is unappealing, some woman out there will eagerly accept.
That’s why guys keep trying. 🤨

@bijouxbroussard that's not really what I was saying tho
bijouxbroussard · F
@meeyuh I guess I misunderstood then. Sorry.
Vin53 · M
@bijouxbroussard Can you explain what subby is talking about here? I must be little slow on the upside. Thanks.

No offence not all older males are interested in young ladies, we are set in our ways, where you are young and free spirited
dale74 · M
I tell women my age because I want to be honest so she's not interested in someone my age we don't waste time getting to know each other
ChipmunkErnie · 70-79, M
I'd say it comes from your fantasies? Never heard of any male actually feeling that way.
JackBoston · 46-50, M
Probably senility.
calicuz · 56-60, M
An older male with wisdom would never think such a thing. He would admire her beauty and complement her respectfully.
Entitlement!

Maybe the delusion stems from loneliness
Adogslife · 61-69, M
Honestly, the delusion would be my interest.
AnnaBunny · 18-21, FNew
Sounds like a carnival act.

Turtlepower · 36-40, M
@meeyuh That saying my age to someone your age would be an instant turn off not turn on.
ArishMell · 70-79, M
Vanity, that's where.
Jenny1234 · 56-60, F
Some young women actually want old guys. Either have daddy issues or need a sugar daddy
in10RjFox · M

Iwillwait · M

@meeyuh have you said anything about liking older guys?
ImperialAerosolKidFromEP · 51-55, M
Where did you get the delusion older men think that?
basilfawlty89 · 36-40, M
I wish I had the confidence of a mediocre old man on the internet.
BigGuy2 · 31-35, M
How many times has that happened to you
Moneyonmymind · 31-35, M
