The "age is just a number" folks who intentionally seek out teenagers.

It's not that young people you are targeting are wiser and more mature.. it is more that you are mentally impaired and never grew up enough to catch up with your peers. Being kind enough here not to use the R word.

The girl who I put more selfless mental energy into any other woman is (kinda) with an older guy. She's 24 and he's 33. He is a DJ an she has virtually no life experience prior to being with him (never been to a bar before meeting him).

I am choosing to move on, unless she changes.
