freaking ai could be the death of society......

was just watching on the news how companies take a job applicant's interview answers and run them through ai to analyze them...also how applicants are using ai to "tweek" their resumes and such....are we losing our touch to see through bs in people ourselves?

I do find it very unnerving to be honest. I remember having to read "1984" in school when I was 13 & how it filled me with dread. Now at 53 those days are here & it's very scary 😱

@JeNeSaisPas i do use it at work. ie filling out BOL, taking a photo of something and asking what it is, asking it to sum up numbers...etc. but i have caught it's errors. i asked ai what dates a certain band played in the 80s in my town. there weren't many but it missed one...i asked it who the referee was for a certain hockey game...it got it wrong....i am very specific when i ask my questions so as to not be vague but it still gets things wrong......so now we are asking it to analyze people's answers....i hope the real people looking at those results by ai know how to spot errors.

I don't think it takes A.I. to see someone who calls themselves "beermeplease" is destined to be the CEO of a major corporation when he gets out of prison.
