I rarely ever use the word "deserve" in regards to myself but I do notice that women use it quite a bit

I am not sure why I have noticed this gender difference around this word.

I can say that the way I see it is that the universe doesn't owe me anything.

That is just quite simply my experience. If I want anything I have to work for it and even still you have to press people for the prize afterwards.

Deserve....wtf is that. I don't know if I even live on the same planet sometimes.

it's like quantum physics. When you think you deserve, you attract the thing, you curve the time space and it comes to you:) We know you men are a little behind with it, but we're not better either, we just train harder to think that we "deserve" things, whilst you use the same time to take the casual path.
Both have its pros and cons and in the end, we all do a little bit of this and that.
