i swear this child has me questioning everything 😂
some of y'all might remember me talking about this little girl on my old account before i deleted it. just to give y'all a little preview of one of those stories... she's 9 now (she was 8 at the time), and one day she wanted to take my dog, evie, on a walk with my mom. it was just starting to rain, and i said, "no, she's not going because she hates the rain." i hear my mom tell her, "lauren said no, it's raining and evie hates the rain." this little girl really goes, "well i don't care what lauren says, i'm taking her." 😭 ma'am... who do you think you are??
fast forward to this weekend. she stayed with us from friday until last night, and i genuinely don't even know where to begin. she talked back to both me and my mom the entire weekend, kept telling us we were annoying, literally told us to "shut up" multiple times, and just had absolutely no respect whatsoever. i was honestly shocked because i cannot imagine talking to adults like that when i was 9.
then last night at work i bought myself a bag of gummy lifesavers because i had been craving them. i got home, set them on the mini fridge, and when her mom came to pick her up... she took them. 😭 like girl... those were my lifesavers. i know it's only $3.50, and thankfully her mom immediately apologized and gave me $4 to replace them, but that's not even the point. i wanted my gummy lifesavers. 😂
the craziest part? this isn't even the first time she's stolen from us. there was actually a point where we had to check her bag before she left our house because she'd try taking things home.
i'm just genuinely mindblown. i know kids have bad days, but i have never seen a 9-year-old be this openly disrespectful to adults and just take whatever they want like it's completely normal.
because whewwww... if i would've done any of this shit at 9 years old (or honestly at any age), my mom would've beat my ass before i even had time to think about it. 😭😂
