yesterday was honestly one of the worst days i’ve had in a long time.

i got a call from my cousin screaming and crying, saying she thought she was miscarrying. hearing someone you love that terrified is something i never want to experience again. she was bleeding so much and i was absolutely convinced we were losing the baby.

they rushed to the er, checked on him, and thankfully they said he’s okay. hearing that was such a huge relief. but they sent her home without really giving her any answers as to why she was bleeding, which is so frustrating and honestly still really scary.

i’m just so thankful he’s still hanging on in there. if you pray, please keep my cousin and her sweet baby boy in your prayers. yesterday was just one of those days that completely drained me. 🤍

Sorry, that is scary, glad the baby is good.

There are a lot of reasons why it happened. My wife and I buried two babies lost in the 6th month stage of pregnancy. In Texas a death certificate is required after 24 weeks. She hemorrhage really bad with the first one. Wife discovered that she had a tissue disorder that would prevent her from carrying a child to term without a surgery and so we did that to finally have a child. I can tell you the losses were devastating.

How far into the pregnancy?.

@PeachySkies that is too late to be from implantation, a bit too early for some of the usual late causes. We can only hope for the best now. I assume at least an ultrasound was done to be sure the placenta is in the best location.

@samueltyler2 they did an ultrasound at the hospital and said ''baby is doing fine and measuring well''... she was supposed to be seen today, but her doctor called and said they couldn't do an ultrasound today, that would need to wait until tuesday, so they are getting her in to her doctor on tuesday for an ultrasound.

@PeachySkies sounds good.

Sounds like a subchorionic hemorrhage usually they’d put you on light bedrest and pelvic rest and it should resolve on its own

@MommaBear they did not do that & that was what i was thinking, i am still really concerned for her and the baby. she goes to her baby doctor on tuesday to get an ultrasound.

@PeachySkies tell her to put herself in bedrest and pelvic rest for now sometimes the er is useless I’m sorry she’s going through that it can be very scary
