Never again will I go out of my way for people who wouldn’t even meet me halfway.

I’m done overextending myself, done giving my energy to people who only take. If it’s not mutual, it’s not for me anymore.

Protecting my peace isn’t selfish it’s necessary.

This has been my whole damn life! I see something someone would like - I get it for them. It's my way of saying that I saw something and it made me think of them. I found that snow globe, mug, book, whatever and it reminded me that you are important in my life and I want to share that with you. Thousands of dollars of things and do any of these people ever, EVER, get me anything - nope. I did buy my aunt a book once and she wrote me a thank you note. My Mom was so jealous she was Kermit the Frog green with envy. That thank you note meant more than anything she could have gotten me.
