No. I want and openly give it. I don't not believe in the "must earn it" attitude which is self serving. Give a little, receive it back. Common decency which lacks today.
No it's not a demand. People are allowed to have their reasons for not thinking I deserve respect. Those are just obviously people I should have distance between.
everyone deserves respect but i think everyone also needs to set boundaries on what is acceptable and unacceptable. that way people know they can't cross your line
@Zonuss Interesting. Do you respect children? Please don't get up in arms. Obviously I'm not asking if you're a chi mo, its just the perfect example of someone you should just respect because they are a living soul.
@jshm2 I think that show 'House' is about a man who is a bit mean but a great doctor. I've known a few people like that....I gave them all due respect lol.
I think the 'demand' thing for me is about when someone treats you like refuse on a stick. I think we've all been there. Where you wanna flip a table, the condescension is that bad.
