Do you demand respect?

I have done things in life that were hard were hard to achieve. I've risked my life...
But I don't think that's why.

I just think we all deserve a basic level of respect as Gods children. We all deserve to be treated better than refuse on a stick. Even people who have been through nothing yet.

No. I want and openly give it. I don't not believe in the "must earn it" attitude which is self serving. Give a little, receive it back. Common decency which lacks today.

No it's not a demand. People are allowed to have their reasons for not thinking I deserve respect. Those are just obviously people I should have distance between.

I give everyone respect, I tend to get it back.

everyone deserves respect but i think everyone also needs to set boundaries on what is acceptable and unacceptable. that way people know they can't cross your line

There's very little I demand, but I give respect and normally receive it. It is disappointing when I don't.

Nope. I already know people don't respect me. I give everyone a basic level of respect but they don't get to demand it of me either.

@Zonuss Interesting. Do you respect children? Please don't get up in arms. Obviously I'm not asking if you're a chi mo, its just the perfect example of someone you should just respect because they are a living soul.
