I can empathize with them; however, we all struggle and I cannot feel guilty for mine being different.

Fun fact - these people are in our countries and the cost of living may mean that any one of us could join them.

Our Victorian forefathers had vision. They were very much aware of cholera, diphtheria and the like. They introduced clean water, that benefitted everyone. Parks that provided recreation facilities for the future.
Since the eighties we have lived in a society where a diminishing number of rich get richer and richer, and to hell with the rest of us.

@peterlee They had vision, but also a sense of moral responsibility that has disappeared from modern, shareholder-driven capitalism. Civil society and a strong state are all that stands between us and general destitution.

@Mysterion619 ... if YOU don't like FACTS, i strongly suggest you DON'T make posts like this one ... a 30 minute search on the Internet will prove ALL my FACTS correct, just because you don't like the truth, doesn't disprove what i'm saying
... whilst researching, look up the word 'ignorant' as well, as obviously you don't know what it means
