Its crazy to me how when I was in school in the 80s and 90s the era of McCarthyism was taught over and over and over again and what a tragic blight it was on the American experiment. It ws always taught as one of our worst moments as a nation and qhat an embarassment it was.
Then agajn so was our racist elements of our past but that seems to be comming back into vaogue as well. It's almost like theyvand those who champion each are interconnected maybe?🤔
@bijouxbroussard I am still shaking from the exhibit. It started its tour in Wisconsin, then went to LA, now in NY. Unfortunately there was no book being sold about it.
