@Stuffy My wife and I did the same with our parents. I think they saw what we did and followed our lead.

@Stuffy First time I got cancer he would ask me if I slept when I’d come out of my room after laying in my lift chair for a couple hours. He did it quite a few times. And a few weeks after I had my surgeries I lifted the laundry basket to put clothes in the washing machine and made a little groan. He was in the living room and I walked past him and he asked me “Are you OK?” He picks up everything. My cancer came back and I haven’t lost a lot of weight like I did before (65 pounds) but he still is asking several times a day if I have eaten.

@Stuffy I have 4 parakeets and 1canary. But Boo-Boo is the sweetest one who interacts with me the most. He always had, ever since his feathers grew in.

@Stuffy I'll do some, for sure. At the very least I have to make sure my wife gets food, etc. The rest sort of depends on my mood and my energy.

@ChipmunkErnie on my work days I take care of someone like that. Does your wife need help to go bathroom too? My client does.
