What was socially acceptable when you we're young, but now it's not.

I grew up in an era when smoking was ubiquitous and socially acceptable, with cigarettes prominently featured in advertisements, movies, and even hospitals. I even remember crowded restaurants filled with smoke and airplanes designated "smoking" and "non-smoking" sections near the end of the full on "No Smoking Everywhere" ban took effect

Generally more sexism, racism, and homophobia was present in my early years.

@JimboSaturn that’s what I remember. Many of the cartoons I watched had some blatantly racist images. And the N word was somewhat common to hear during normal conversation.
