18 hours in the life of Gusman
Sunday evening, Rockingham foreshore, I hear several police car sirens coming my way.
Go and have a stickybeak. There is a street fight. Two males going hell for leather. The place is full of families enjoying a beautiful evening.
3 police cars arrive. I leave the area. I do not need to be a spectator to the melee.
Monday morning, having coffee at McDonalds, time to go, as I am walking to my car a lady emerges saying, excuse me sir, on the third excuse me, I turn around, I see a lady holding my recently purchased camcorder. I had left it on the seat.
Driving back to Perth around 11am, a black SUV comes speeding off Beeliar Drive, narrowly avoiding the vehicle in front, closely followed by no less than 6 unmarked police car with lights and sirens.
Watching the news tonight, the driver was being followed by the police helicopter, he turned into a cul-de-sac, forced to make a run for it, he and his passenger where caught by officers on foot.
