They're scared that maybe they don't just like to dress in female clothes themselves, maybe it's more... Internalized phobia is ugly like that. Others will use symbol politics and try to turn a vulnerable minority into an evil enemy in the eyes of the majority of people so they won't start questioning the lack of promises not being kept.

Shouldn't energy be spent trying to fix some real life problems that affect more people,like crime, gun crime, rising cost of health insurance, climate control, MH patients getting access to guns and ammunition

@BabyLonia The only people who think it's important are some of that very small minority,, who seek to impinge themselves on other people, especially women, with sometimes dubious motives.

@MartinII see here is the difference, i think it is important to those who don't identify as male or female but it is not a big deal for me, i am happy to live and let live because how they live their life does not negate how i live mine.

@SUPERVlXEN Not me. I think Trump's announcement is a good thing, but not a particularly big thing - refreshing because it signifies a willingness to challenge previously conventional wisdom rather than significant in substance.

@BabyLonia I agree with you, except that some people seek rights or privileges which would, or might, affect others negatively. If that happens, I side with the majority, not the tiny minority.

@MartinII but the answer is not to shut down the minority and say it does not exist. Should we not continue the conversation and evaluate?
