Not in MY experience. Seems to me that the nicer and more of a gentleman you are, the more suspicious women get. Of course, as with everything, there are rare exceptions.
So be it. 😏

@SmileOnYourBrother lot of truth in what you said. It is frustrating to say the least

@SmileOnYourBrother It’s not necessarily that we don’t appreciate kindness or chivalry it’s that actions alone aren’t always enough to prove sincerity. You can thank creepy men for this. Over time, trust is built through consistency and genuine behavior. If a woman seems suspicious of a nice guy, it’s often less about him personally and more about her past experiences.
“nice guys” who acted gentlemanly but were only after sex. It’s not that we (or I) dislike chivalry—it’s just hard to trust intentions when this happens often. Some men don't understand how easier life is for them in comparison to woman. Of course like you said there are rare exceptions. 😊

@Metalbarbie this is a very true, unfortunately, perspective. Consistency is key, it’s easy for guys to act early on in a relationship but if it can be sustained over a period of time, regardless of your connection with them, that tells the truth

And who PICKS the "creepy men"? 😉
Metalbarbie · 22-25, F
@SmileOnYourBrother You’re assuming women “pick” creepy men on purpose, which isn’t fair. Many times, these men don’t show their true colors right away. They act charming, normal, or even kind initially, and it’s only later that the red flags appear.
This is where we come full circle back to chivalry question. And your statement of women being suspicious the nicer you are. The blame for creepiness lies with the men behaving that way, not the women who unknowingly encounter them with a fake mask on.

@Metalbarbie I'm sorry. I forgot the rules. I temporarily forgot this is internet social media, where all women are sugar, spice, and everything nice, without question. Completely void of blame for their bitterness. Innocent, angelic victims of creepy, evil narcissistic men on a forum where only one side of a story is ever heard. 😌

@SmileOnYourBrother not at all. And no need for sarcasm. Women are just as bad as men. I don't disagree. But this post is about chivalry and the discussion is about "creepy men" since you brought it up. Just trying to stay on topic. And not divert into "but she ..." But it you like to discuss women and everything you mentioned maybe you should put up a post and people(include myself) can comment on that. So that way we can all stay on the actual topic 😊
