@HumanEarth This is true. Men and women did evolve to be together but now they're drifting apart. The only force that could so easily drive them apart would seem to be the same one that put them together. You say what you do because your big human brain tells you it's the truth. An animal couldn't even contemplate something like that. And, what you say is true. Who the hell wants to be absorbed into a couple? to be dependent on someone else or erased by such an arrangement? Of course, then, we can't reproduce ourselves. But, if we can develope at least an artificial womb, then machines can handle the task. This artificiality could actually be a natural outgrowth. Birds build nests from twigs. Humans by their nature could build artificial wombs and genetic alterations. What
people see as artificial may be simply a more sophisticated version of the same behavior.
