I know, I was thinking about the same thing just the other day, glad you posted this, so sad. The company may be sold them a pack of lies, About how safe the thing was, I think I would have my concerns and a red flag when I saw the thing was driven by a videogame controller. I'm hoping that nobody suffered And they all died quickly/instantaneously but I'm sure the few minutes before implosion must have been terrifying for those on board.

I always Shy away from watching those World War II movies of submarines and U-boats going down beyond their safe depth limits to escape the enemy and the depth charges... that was only hundreds of feet most of the time back then.... not thousands...scenes where you heard the hull creaking under the pressures and bolts popping, indicating that any minute the whole thing could implode. Must have been terrifying for those Submariner's actually living through it in real life during the wars. Not me I will stick to pleasures above water apart from the occasional scuba diving trip when my body is the vessel and I know my limitations.
