It really is both very presumptuous and rather discriminative to presume that the DEVIL is a male

It could very easily be female or transgender or LBGT

I'm just saying........

There's not just one devil, there are many devils.

The ones most commonly represented in picture, song and story are male.

But there are also female devils known aptly as "she-devils."
