Are white people close to black people?

I was at a Barmitsva last week. I was talking to a rabbi that was there. He said they had the same sweat glands and similar skull structure.

I believe the species is called homo sapiens, or human beings. They share a heck of a lot more in common than sweat glands and skull structure.
