I took the bus today and I noticed an older guy take out his phone and appear to take a pic of me.

I could have stood up and told him to delete it, but the bus was kind of full and I wasn't exactly sure he took a pic and I didn't have proof. But, the way he was holding his phone, like down by his waist and positioned up suggested he was taking a pic. And, his body language suggested that is what he was doing. But, I didn't say anything. I'm pretty sure he took a pic though.

That made me pretty angry that he's using a pic of me to j/o.

You're in a public place! Heck most buses here have cameras.

@DeWayfarer There's a difference between a camera for public security purposes and one by an older guy with tobacco stained teeth who is taking a private pic in a public place for his own amusement... now and in the future.

@MarkPaul not legally!

@DeWayfarer I'm talking decency!

@MarkPaul you make an issue of it then you are responsible for harassment.

Ask any celebrity magazines. Heck even the celebrities themselves.
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
@DeWayfarer Well, I didn't make an issue. I restrained myself. I didn't grab his phone. I didn't accuse him. I didn't make a scene. This is my testimony.
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@MarkPaul just saying that was what you were facing with!
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
@DeWayfarer Well, I don't like it.
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@MarkPaul just try changing the laws. Not going to happen.
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
@DeWayfarer I may be a public figure, but I'm not a celebrity in the traditional sense. And, I shouldn't be part of someone's "collection" regardless of the appearance of his teeth. That's not why I took the bus.
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@MarkPaul it doesn't matter if you are a celebrity or not! It's how these soap magazines get their soap opera type pictures LEGALLY. Even how private detectives get their pictures LEGALLY.
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
@DeWayfarer Yeah, but this was an old guy with brown tobacco-stained teeth and a crooked smile.
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@MarkPaul it doesn't matter. It's why I was able to make the following two posts!

Both are PUBLIC PLACES!
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
@DeWayfarer You don't understand. What possible reason could he have to take a pic of me? THAT is the point and that is what is offensive.
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@MarkPaul that the hole situation!

It doesn't matter if he had a reason to or not! Pictures in public places are legal.

Now if he was taking pictures under girls dresses that a different situation. The pictures are then considered private because they are taken solely of their private areas.
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
@DeWayfarer Well, I can assure you I won't be taking that bus again.
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@MarkPaul I can assure you even if you reported it and they said they would ban him, not even that will happen!

Buses drivers DON'T HAVE A PHOTOGRAPHIC MEMORY! Banned people still get on ALL THE TIME!
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
@DeWayfarer Well, he can have the bus. I would rather walk if I have to.
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@MarkPaul be thankful you don't live where it's above 120°f. The buss is a life saver here! Quite literally!
