Did interracial couples start becoming more common in the 60's?

Like whites and blacks dating or marrying.

In my area (Upper Ohio Valley) earliest I can track is early Baha'i marriages in the early 20th century, such as white women and black men. In the 1960s due to japanese oriented histkrical dramas becomming available white men and asian women started, then white liberal feminists started fighting white men and asian women being happy together and tried hard, to this day, to break it up.

Muscular blue collar black men and fat ugly white women became a thing in the late 80s, then in the early 2000s after the collapse of steel industry the dominate relationship type in working class communities.

I've spotted a few white men and black women together but it's rare due to the hostility of black women to white men in this part of the country, but noticed it wasn't a issue on the west coast, women are more willing to have white men. In this gap however I've noticed more and more South Asian brown women walking around with white men, which shows they have no such qualms and it has me intrigued. Best bet though in the interracial arena white men and asian women, or black guys and fat white women. The two groups look so happy but liberal-racist sections of society just don't like it.
