Neighbor causing disturbance

So we have this neighbor where a couple lives together. I think they also have children. They tend to fight and we can hear the shouting and punching loud and clear every single day. We don't really wanna get in their business but it is causing disturbance in the neighborhood especially when you're just trying to get a nice sleep at 12 am. I have a feeling they won't leave unless one of them leaves. We just want a peaceful life and neighborhood... come on man :DD

Thus far, I've had:

- Guy that kicks down a door of the apt he was being rented (got evicted)
- Guy who thinks of himself as Pavarotti at 6.50am (probably his cocaine got cut wrongly, idk)
- Guy who yells from the window (5th floor) to talk to his friends on the road, for a solid 30 to 60 minutes, twice a day
- Guy who got evicted from his own apt by the gf that illegally occupied it
- Guy who gets home completely drunk/high at 3.30 am. Leaves the car with the door open and the keys on in the middle of the road, rings literally every intercom in the building (30+)
- Couple who f*cks loudly at 7pm, makings sounds that would be exaggerated even for P*rnhub
- Old couple that listen to mass everyday, 5pm to 8pm - yesterday they've been listening to the same prayer in loop for over 1h. Considering the duration of the prayer, they've been listening to the same looped period for at least 120 times

I'm probably forgetting some

Load yourself with patience, especially if the apt is for rent 😬

Oh and don't hesitate to call the police if you have reason to think things escalated too much. It also helps having records in case if (probable) litigations

@Elessar
- I can relate on point 2. Neighbour tries his best singing but the problem is it lasting several hours and way out of tune! We usually take a walk now when it starts up.
-The other one for me is neighbours who smoke and deal cannabis and have to deal with it drifting into the flat. Thankfully now moved so the latter is no longer a problem.

@nacnud Now that you mention it, yeah, I also had the neighbor that would smoke a joint and turn the whole condominium into a Jamaican exclave 🙈

Call the police and if there are children call DFS or DCS

Punching? Call the police.

Our neighbours have been doing this for decades except punching. It's usually she yelling and throwing stuff around. Not every day but they have their "episodes".

@CrazyMusicLover Me opening this post like

how about leaving them a note expressing your concerns. that might be a start.
smileylovesgaming · 31-35, F
U should write a note and tell them they should get a divorce.
CPS... They might be able to check on the children and decrease the incidents in one move...
My current neighbour brought in his girlfriend who decided to shout at me without being provoked. It transpired she was there illegally and was non - stop using an illegal drug. I reported 'her' only because at that time I wasn't aware of the guy and then had my rear tyre slashed and an expensive parcel stolen from my porch. My advice is if you're on your own, I'd just carry on with your life or if it's unbearable - move out. 🤷‍♀️

@Nihiless sad but unfortunately this is often the best advise if possible.
