Why do many people not like to eat the front and the back slices from a loaf of bread?

Because it's full of crust.
A lot of people take off crust even from the rest of the slices.
I never understand why. For me, it was the best bit - when I used to eat bread.

I don’t know. But when I could still eat wheat breads I would save them and use them for hamburger buns when I didn’t have any. Or just toast them.

I dont even eat the ones next to the crust

You're supposed to leave them in the bag on the back and front, eating from the middle leaving the heels in place. They prevent the bread from drying out

I don´t either.
But there is nothing more or less than a preference.

Those are the two best pieces.

They're the best bits
Because they're nuts, some are even extreme enough to cut off the edges of all the middle slices

It's just bread y'all, good grief
