Homeless People

If you saw someone that you know, living on the street, would you offer them a place to stay with you?

Is homelessness a lifestyle choice?
Dv8rs · 18-21, F
@sree251 Perhaps, back in the day, it was a choice. I think people that are on the streets today, have no choice, but to live on the streets.

@Dv8rs Apart from teenage runaways, anyone who can't stay on the treadmill of society falls off. You are correct. Those who falls off don't have a choice.They are like stone chips that get filtered by sieves and cast out like chaff that harvesting tractors chuck off as they gather wheat for the market. Society is indeed a market place and people are a commodity called human resource. Those bastards we sent to Congress and the White House run the USA like a corporation, a failing one. They are not working for the people. They are harvesting the damn crop (i.e. the American people).

@sree251 I agree.

@Dv8rs You are only 18. You need to be careful. How can you agree without making sure that I am not spouting bullshit? I don't want to influence any 18 year old into disrespecting the US government.
Dv8rs · 18-21, F
@sree251 Bullshit or not I agree with how the current government is failing, making us, the people look weak for tolerating such nonsense.
sree251 · 41-45, M
@Dv8rs So, what are you going o do about it? I don't mean hating on the government. I am talking about an intelligent response that provides a better life for all Americans.
Dv8rs · 18-21, F
@sree251 Make housing affordable, would be a good start. I'm aware that some of these people would rather be on the streets, but a majority of the homeless, would rather be in a home. If the divide between the rich and poor keeps getting bigger, eventually the bough will break.
sree251 · 41-45, M
@Dv8rs Yes, make housing affordable, as well as, everything else that we need to live a good life. Why are we not doing that? I think we are going about it all wrong living selfishly. All this talk about war is going to make more of us homeless. There are millions of Syrian refugees displace by our meddling. Ukraine is another homeless causing horror.

We won't make housing affordable by using our taxes to create homelessness through fighting war.
