To clarify......

I believe everyone has the right to live as they please providing it doesn't harm another.

Love is love, whether you're in a heterosexual relationship or not.

If you wish to dress as a man, when you're a woman....go ahead fill your boots.

However.....all the political correctness bullshit about genders and the trans community has gotten out of hand.

You are biologically either male or female at birth. No amount of gender reassignment is going to change that!

Children do not need to learn about all this in schools. Yes a little awareness maybe, but they don't need to know the terms for 109 different genders/ or that Fred nextdoor has turned into Maureen and likes to wear fishnet stockings but doesn't shave his/her legs FFS!

Let's keep it real. Let children be children.

What on earth is unsafe for kids about trans people? Kids have *FAMILY* who are trans or nonbinary.

You're literally talking about banning children from discussing who their parents and siblings are at school.

And where does this line of reasoning lead? If trans and nonbinary people are somehow unsafe for children.... well what do you do to protect the children?

Should people who are unsafe for children even be allowed to hold jobs where they interact with children? Adopt children? What about go out in public? What about even be in families? Should the government "save" children from their families that have trans people in them?

You need to actually think through these ideas and what it means for people and what kinds of policies you support.

@CountScrofula Thing is I haven't said anywhere that trans are unsafe for children. Yes I've read stories of incidents where trans have taken advantage of being women to gain trust and prey on children etc but they're not common stories. My stance is children don't need to be taught in great depth about trans etc. Everyone has jumped on my post claiming this and that, and taking it out of context. I've nothing against the trans community.

@Lanie78 Everyone is jumping on your post because there's literal laws being passed right now which are terrifying for trans people. I'm going to extreme conclusions, because those extreme conclusions are -already reality-.

> My stance is children don't need to be taught in great depth about trans etc.

What does 'in depth' mean? What do you think children are currently being taught?

@Lanie78 ... FOOLS like Scrofula - nutjobs - try to imply or place words into your post that you haven't stated {'unsafe'} so that they can then twist the narrative to imply that you HATE trans, thankfully, you picked up on the fact and pointed out to him that you didn't state in your post that they were 'unsafe' ... another technique used, is they will almost invariably state "you're lying" then when asked to identify that 'lie' they just ignore you, please read my:

'Lib*ardism by numbers' post

It sums up these techniques that these nutjobs use to TWIST the narrative perfectly
