Children aren't allowed to be children anymore.

I believe children should be allowed to have a voice, opinions. No child should have to suffer in silence.
Children should be allowed to be happy, and be listened to.

However, I don't agree with parents who influence their childrens choices.
Let them figure it out for themselves.

Don't subject them to anything they can't possibly process properly. Growing up is tough enough as it is.

Just be a responsible adult/parent.

Not difficult.

Really? I think kids today have it way easier than we had it as kids. They're practically carried around in bubbles.

I think education and guidance are absolutely CRUCIAL before the age of 10- teach them everything you can before that age because by 10, they are already on their way to becoming their own person, and if you gave them the right guidance and life tools/skills when they were little, they'll be alright.

@DearAmbellina2113 Easier in some aspects yes. In others not so much. Growing up in a world which now tends to be very sexualised isn't healthy. Teenagers thinking they should have to look/dress a certain way to be accepted. Not healthy.

@Lanie78 it's always been that way, unfortunately. Be thankful there are now laws against it.

@DearAmbellina2113 Laws against what?

@Lanie78 marrying/having sex with/sexualizing minors
@Lanie78 I was in school long before the internet existed, and there was just as much if not more pressure to look and act a certain way. At least today there are more options and kids who are different can express themselves with less fear of bullying or even being murdered.

@DearAmbellina2113 Oh yes of course. Marrying minors is still legal unfortunately in many countries though. I'm some states in America also 😐
