It's a mix of reasons... But i do think you have it back to front
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@Convivial nope. Could put a reason for that direction. Yet that would be a political debate and not a society issue.
Convivial · 26-30, F
@DeWayfarer i think homelessness is often the last issue caused by the others
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@Convivial it isn't because the drugs will find the homeless no matter what. They are depressed.
Convivial · 26-30, F
@DeWayfarer the drugs are often why they are homeless
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@Convivial no! The other way around. Believe me I have been homeless many many times. Close to being homeless now.
The drugs will find the depressed who are most often homeless. I could step outside my door right now and ask for a joint and I would get it!

@DeWayfarer I'm sorry to hear that... But i still feel that drugs, and I'm including Addictive behaviours here, whether it's gambling, alcohol or whatever is often a primary cause

@Convivial I have been homeless all across this country! Every time I see drug addiction I see the homeless first.
Not every homeless person is a drug addict. I sure am not nor ever have been!

@DeWayfarer i wish you well and hope you find an answer to your situation

@Convivial yet looking at the homeless problem as you are will not either resolve it nor prevent the problem from beginning.
And that's even more sad. 😞
