Coming from a developing nation, back in 2000's, population control and ongoing population explosion was made a huge topic. It was advised to have 1-2 kids and lessen burden of resource consumption.

Fast forward 20 years, now it's advised to have a TFR of 2.1 and talks of population decline and demographic dividend shifting to old people is talked upon.

The same people who pushed population control are now the same people who advocate for open borders.. And thus they are advocating for unrestricted population explosion in their nations and these are the same people who talk about the evils of the large carbon footprint that western individuels place upon the earth.. So they again advocate open borders to increase the population of western people and thus increase the size of the western carbon footprint..

The scatter brained foolishness of these woke western fascists is a source of hilarity..
