This site is quite hateful.

I personally don't care where people are from, the colour of their skin. Which way they swing, or their ethnicity.
Yet I have noticed people being hateful towards the British, Muslims and women in general.

It's a damn shame.

We're all the same at the end of the day.

@revenant I wouldn’t say the site in general was hateful, but there are plenty of examples. One American member, now blocked, made it clear in forceful terms that, in her opinion, I had no right, as a Brit, to express an opinion on American politics. Odd, given the US’s enthusiasm for taking sides in politics all over the world!

@MartinII I do not consider that hateful just human nature. I am not american either and I respond that since US politics influence the western world and beyond I can have my say

@revenant Perhaps not hateful, but pretty unpleasant in my view. I responded just as you say, adding that I would be glad to hear her views on British politics. Didn’t get me anywhere!
