If you were/are someone's favorite...

On a job or in a family and you notice that you're being trated better and allowed to do more or given more then others. Do you say something about it or do just ignore the fact that others or being treated different from you.

I was in that position at work and I didn't need to say anything to anyone. It was pretty obvious. I wasn't favorite but there was a blatant inequality in how work was evaluated in different positions. In the end, it was the company that suffered from their own decisions because whoever got the position that was paid less despite that what they did was much more important didn't stay there for long.
