We surely all agree that the internet is not an accurate reflection of society

Take Christians. Online they are all anger and judgment. The Christian’s I have met face to face are good people, who strive to alleviate pain, empower goodness and encourage community unity. All that without a single meme.

And this is true of other groups and demographics. The internet is like a negativity amplifier. We are not this ugly.

I’ve met a lot of ugly Christians in person. They don’t represent the religion well, and I’ve been encountering them long before there even was an internet. They’re not perhaps the best example of your point.
