We surely all agree that the internet is not an accurate reflection of society

Take Christians. Online they are all anger and judgment. The Christian’s I have met face to face are good people, who strive to alleviate pain, empower goodness and encourage community unity. All that without a single meme.

And this is true of other groups and demographics. The internet is like a negativity amplifier. We are not this ugly.

My next statement is not just for Christians in particular.

I think people in general show their true colors online just because they are protected by their anonymity. They can say anything, be their worst self and di””they can run away from the consequences of that.

In real life, they care about their reputation and what people will say about them and their families.
@CookieCrumbs and some… can even be more courageous and stand up for what’s right. Anonymity, gives us license to be our best… or possibly worst selves.🖤
@JustGoneNow
Wouldn’t we be courageous to stand up for what is right if we weren’t anonymous?

Believing in what is right is the core of a person. Anonymous or not, I think that person would choose doing the right thing.
@CookieCrumbs it can be scary. I live in a small rural traditional and very conservative part of the US. I’m an openly gay woman in a interracial lesbian relationship. It can be very scary to stand up for what’s right off line and unanonymously.
