Does it really have a "deep meaning"?

Perhaps it's just a little too cerebral for all of us. 😐

The diamonds in the air represent capitalism.

The two smaller skeletons are the working class dying in their endless toil to hold up the giant corporations that get fat off their suffering. Soon all three will parish and nothing will rise from the ashes. Nothing but pain and degradation.

Or maybe some stoner was just bored and was fucking around

To offer a broader comment, it is the world being held up by man. The question is are we weighed down by the world, or is the world weighed down by us? The reason they are skeletons is because bones are the strongest part of a human. Maybe the fact they are attached by the head speaks to something as well. The diamond pattern is just a contrast or decoration.

Yes, it's heavy ☺️

The beauty of art is that the viewer can create meaning from the evocative imagery.

For instance, my immediate takeaway was how cumbersome and stifling it is to support dead weight in the forms of toxic relationships and jobs.

Are you making a statement about what this piece says to you?
@WaryWitchWandering Not at all. It was a reference to something else that was swarming around in my head, but the replies are kind of interesting.

@TheFlippantSide I like that

Art is cool in that so much of it is subjective, so it means what you want it to mean.

We all carry heavy burdens in life but all of us eventually die.

a stronger person, either emotionally or physically who uncomplainingly provides support for someone, may be a brother or maybe just a friend or even an acquaintance who is finding it more difficult to make the same journey.
