Facts that we do know is that several fled to Argentina, Bolivia, Uruguay, Nicaragua, and even the USA.

A lot of Nazis escaped to South America. It's possible that Hitler was among them.

given the amount of forces present in Europe & around Berlin, I find it unlikely that he'd have found a means of escape...

He would have had to made his escape months in advance, before allies crossed the Rhine; and even then, there weren't many ports left that weren't controlled or blockaded by allies.

Shame they didn't have DNA evidence in those days, so much conjecture about whether he did commit suicide or escaped to somewhere, personally I'd have loved it if he'd been put in a gas chamber 😊
