Why do adults of today have the mind of ten-year-olds and the ones from the past seemed much more strict and wise?

From what I've seen of history people act the same now as they did in the past. Even slightly insulting someone in the past could get them to draw a gun on you. Same as today. Politics have been screwed up forever. People still think they are going to see the apocalypse. Same as the past. The Greeks made dildos. Just like we still do. Humans haven't changed a lot.

Bingo. Technology may have made life a bit easier and more convenient, but human beings themselves don't change much from their original design.
