Why does everything have to get so complicated?

I’m beginning to think it was a mistake to give up the hunter/gatherer lifestyle.

Eh in my opinion it was no mistake, hunter/gatherer societies were brutal. No store to save you in the wild. I'm not saying there's no criticism of our modern day society but I don't wish to go back to no electricity either.
