@Quizzical: OH,I thought you meant the youtube thing! I think I caught the Robert Goulet version a Lot of years ago.
My reference points for Scots accents are,Mr Scot of Star Trek,Billy Connolly,Craig Ferguson and,you know..that guy who played Bond?

You know James Doohan was putting that accent on for Scotty. He was actually Canadian I believe :)

You get a sort of generic accent in film and television,like all Irish people have that terrible brogue you always here. I think they know better but figure this plays in Peoria.

I heard Connolly and Ferguson getting hysterical over Connery's Scottish accent on the latters show
