Why do people get mad when a person states their opinion?

There's a youtube named justbryan. I was subscribed to him at one point but then he started saying disrespectful things in his video that made me mad. So I went on reddit and explained why i didn't like his videos. Later i get a comment saying why I'm hating. Whoever said that must've been hurt that i didn't like their precious youtuber anymore.
