what to do when someone on youtube doesn't acknowledge or respond to information you tell them

i was on a british history video recently and got into a conversation with someone on the subject, and i mentioned i was white english and he never acknowledged it or responded? and i felt a bit annoyed, because that says to me that he doesn't believe me or doubts me.

how should you respond to a situation like that?
