A 3:40pm pause
This is becoming the first official YouTube only wake period, I did spend a bit of time this wake period with audible, but not much since realizing that the wealth of resources on YouTube far outweigh what is currently accessible on Audible.
On Audible I have only a small selection on what is currently the most pertinent, with YT, I can easily access quick compelling surveys, the large and complex stories that are ever evolving with a brisk beginning and end to their respective videos.
This is to manage in a short amount of time what would be normal with many years of casual attention to the daily grind of things.
There has to be for me a concentrated focus on 20th and 21st centuries, everything that made up the climate of those times.
The most well known players, evil corrupt dictators and so forth, paying attention to it all, having 4 or more places of inquiry at a time, a usage of YouTube like I would do for my Kindle contents.
Skiing through the jungle of obstacles known as strife and power hungry individuals. Becoming more and more familiar with opposing ideologies, comparison, and multiple treatments, always finding out new to me names, and topics to investigate further.
All these sources of info are precious, it's intrinsically important to have access to as much as possible, a disconcerting outlook would see that all of this authentic sources that wear their doctrine and plans on their sleeves will slip away, that there'll be mass revisionism, the sort of dynamic that we may have been coping with for quite awhile that results in a not trusting any source, or just what is deemed right, by perhaps corrupt ideologues, demagogues and whatnot.
After a considerable amount of time with this focus, then at that time i'll know for myself which portion of History would be best to focus on, whether it'll be far back, or inch my way backwards to conditions preceding WWI, the war that was supposed to end all wars.
To see connections, what made conditions fertile for what were and are demonstrably shown as evil men, or questioning in the safety of my mind and judgement if there was any merit in what they did, but at the minimum to see how all things that happen wouldn't surprise the well informed.
In a time when the small amount of people who express their opinions to me (dad) speak without a scintilla of understanding, to my dad China is falling because they have turned their back on God. That kind of analysis is to me not worth wasting any time contemplating, what I seek is to know what was actually happening, what is happening, to see through the obfuscating smoke screens of everyday stories.
It's terrifically exciting, there is no chance me being radicalized, when a accusation like that surfaces, it may simply mean that what is being persued may cover some ground that is uncomfortable, that assumptions of things that many have would even be questioned is a danger sign, is a part of that obfuscation.
Enjoy the free education while it lasts, already I sense that AI is creating things like documentaries that tell a safe story that an elite corrupt group agrees to. I don't know anything, but am beginning to find out, hoping there is still enough time left to get to an understanding that no one I physically know would be capable of, and then to see if I could discuss things with them ina civil manner where now it's all hush hush, we mustn't talk about certain things, we gotta watch sports, or action movies to divert our attention, oh yeah, so they think, we already have it all figured out politically, just tow the line but keep sane with Hockey, Tennis and so on.
