would you be able to tell if your computer was hacked

my mother and father saw a news report yesterday about you can get hacked on youtube of all sites, and to be careful what videos you click on to watch?

i found this worrying as i'm an avid youtuber and frequent the site a lot.....can you get hacked on youtube or is this false news?

also, how would i know if my desktop computer was hacked? can anyone please help as i'm worried now.

YouTube is a very official and secure land, it provides all security and protection. The reason is people earn and make money from YouTube more than a degree holder, right, if there is a prospect of hacking. Many would have hacked many YouTuber's followers. So as far as I know it is fake news. Just never share your passwords and privacy with unknown people.
