@NativePortlander1970 my colleague and her family went on a driving vacation to those states not that long ago. she loved it....but her dad was driving at one point and got into a fairly serious car accident. it was his fault and her dad and mom had to be treated in hospital. i think mom had broken pelvis. but they recovered quickly but had no car to return as it was a write off. the man they hit was very understanding and the police and paramedics told them that intersection was a high risk with many accidents. i can't remember which state it was in but her brother had to drive all the way from up here to pick them up. it's a good thing they had extra medical insurance or they'd be paying out of pocket for years.

@NativePortlander1970 I would Also love to see all the northern states too. There is so much of the country I haven't seen.
