@NativePortlander1970 mmm.. there's too many to remember clearly. I recall one: the flesh that hates....

Honestly, I haven't listened to these stories lately. I didn't know about this channel either
@caPnAhab That there are, I haven't seen the flesh that hates or others because they haven't really made any good ones in a long time.

@NativePortlander1970 I did think the Infinite IKEA seemed a bit sub par. I thought it was a parody or something 😬
@caPnAhab As a former retail manager I found it hilarious.

@NativePortlander1970 Yeah? Maybe I should watch it with a fresh perspective, and become a retail manager too!
@caPnAhab Retail is a world that would blow your mind behind the scenes, the same with food service.
caPnAhab · 26-30, M
@NativePortlander1970 I know. I work in food service and my minds been blown several times over
@caPnAhab What makes your jaw drop the most, all the "food waste" management keeps for themselves, the lazy bums management refuses to fire because they're some friend's nephew or niece, or that management refuses to help during rushes.

@NativePortlander1970 I'd have to say...

The store I work in is kept pretty well, as the health practice standards for food service in Nevada are among the highest of any state.

Sometimes management or employees from neighboring states has to get training in our store, for whatever reason. And the stuff I seen them try to do because they think it's acceptable.... eesh.. no. For example: someone picking up to reuse food they had dropped. Of course, they were corrected.

Since working here, I'm uneasy about eating at restaurants out of state.

What about retail?
@caPnAhab Employee theft is actually quite more common than shoplifters, counterfeit bills are more common than you realize, turnover is higher than food service. Where in Nevada? I have lived and worked in Wendover, Reno, and Las Vegas.

@NativePortlander1970
True? Didn't know that

Las Vegas
@caPnAhab I lived on East Russell, just off of Boulder Hwy at one place, off Nellis in another.
