if you're subbed to someone on youtube and

you leave a comment on one of their recent videos and you notice that they never liked your comment or acknowledged it but they liked all the other comments and left a heart next to them but not yours?

how should you react?

The notification system isn't very up-to-date on there. I barely get any notifications on replies etc on my comments. I don't even care. It's just like TV.
