Does anyone know how to obtain control over the video window frame for so called "shorts" (short videos) in YouTube?

I can't really deal with watching such videos if there are subtitles included because I have the title of the video as well as the subscribe button constantly showing above the text likely in an overlay. I can't even maximize the frame so that the subscribe button would become relatively small.
