I loved this by the way. I agree. There’s always a choice no matter the circumstance. However, if I see three paths to take and you see two. You can tell me all about the choice you made and you’re right. You saw your circumstances and made your choice according to them. Me? I didn’t do that. I saw my circumstances and said I’m taking a third path that doesn’t care about them. So from my perspective, it’s like you didn’t have a choice at all because both were concerned with your circumstances, but in your eyes, yes, you had the freedom to choose from what you know.

Give a man everything he ever wanted so that he no longer has anything to worry about but to muse himself with his favourite activities, and step back to see him burn it all to the ground merely to prove to the universe that he is still the decider of his own fate. For a man would rather be the lord of his own destruction than the subject of everything good.

If you want to predict a persons behaviour then you need to calculate which action makes the most sense. But people can not be predicted, because their senselessness knows no bounds.
