what are the signs your youtube channel or account has been hacked

a guy i'm subscribed to on youtube has had his channel hacked, there are strange videos by elon musk on his channel and his videos are nothing to do that, he uploads reviews of old computer games.

that got me worried, how would i know if my youtube account/channel got hacked?

You are most likely already signed in on the youtube website. Most people who get their accounts hacked have their password changed. So if you go to the youtube website, and are no longer signed in, A) your account was hacked, or B) you may have changed the password on a different device, and will have to log back in with the new password you set.

I had thought my google email had been hacked, because it wouldn't let me in with the password I was using, but I hadn't written down the email account name and had forgotten a part of it. So that was my mistake. Once I entered the correct information then I was able to log in.
