12 year old boy made wine from grapes after watching YouTube video!

He didn't took a sip of that wine himself but he given that glass to his friend...
You can imagine what happened to his friend after that?馃槺

sucks for the friend but smart kid. Hopefully he doesnt give up on making wine if that is what he is passionate about

@Torsten His passion leads to hospitalisation of his friend...
This is problem of parents they should look after what children's are watching on YouTube and what they are playing... keeping eyes on children is good for their children's safety

@AngelKrish I imagine he did not mean to harm his friend. am I correct on that?
If he is passionate about making wine, he can learn from this and maybe do more research before attempting again.
I make my own alcohol myself so maybe I have a bias hearing someone attempting to do the same but i also agree with you and his parents should be taking better watch of what is going on and make sure their children are safe

@Torsten Actually having passion for something is not bad....but there is certain age to practice those things...
When you have enough knowledge to counter consequences if anything goes wrong....and person with proper knowledge and guidance can execute his plans successfully without harming himself or others right!
I agree making our own wine is not wrong,it's good to know which ingredients are actually used in process so we know what we are putting inside us! 馃槍

@AngelKrish having a passion for something is great. making alcohol at a young age is a bit odd since if you actually have parents who watch you, you wont really be able to try your own product haha unless the parents are the guinea pigs but I dont think anyones passion for something should be stopped but instead encouraged.
His parents certainly need to take better watch and maybe encourage him on learning much more about it and the right process and ingredients before taking it into practice..
If of course its a passion and not just done because a youtuber he liked did it
AngelKrish26-30, M
@Torsten Right now no one knows if it was his passion or mistake or something else so discussion on this will be just waste of time and energy!
His parents are responsible no doubt!

I just know parents of kid who got hospitalized are going through so much trouble seeing their happy child on hospital bed fighting for his life!
Torsten36-40, M
@AngelKrish most certainly parents are to blame for sure on this
AngelKrish26-30, M
@Torsten Yes, parents should stay more careful about children now a days than before because now internet can make anyone famous and internet can also destroy life of someone!
Children can learn bad things easily because they have easy access to everything!
Torsten36-40, M
@AngelKrish agreed but also what parents let their kid attempt to make alcohol unsupervised?
My son has helped me on occasion when I do it because he likes to help out and finds it fun but no way would I ever let him do it himself or drink any
AngelKrish26-30, M
@TorstenYour son helps you under your guidance right.....so there is huge difference!
Torsten36-40, M
@AngelKrish yeah exactly. he is 13 and I cant imagine any parent just letting their child at that young age do something like that without guidance and supervision
